11 July – On July 11th, RomExpo welcomed the well-renowned Orquesta Sinfónica Municipal de Mar del Plata. for a magnificent premiere at Castel Sant’Angelo gardens in Rome.
This was the first ever performance in Rome for the prestigious Orquesta, led by Maestro Juan Davila; the Orquesta comprised four bandoneons, three violins, a viola, a piano and two singers, Raquel Pozzi and Juan Alvarez.
The initiative was promoted by the mayor of the city of Mar del Plata and by the Bienal del Fin del Mundo in collaboration with the manifestation “Tango Mi Vida” and Municipio II of Rome.
